The British Film Institute has confirmed a new $2.1 million round of U.K. Global Screen Fund investment, with Object among the recipients for its upcoming documentary 2001.
The film will screen at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, marking its selection into one of the world’s leading showcases for independent cinema.
Produced with the Kubrick estate, the documentary examines the cultural and cinematic impact of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
